THE REVEREND K. TYRONE TURNER
2006-PRESENT

Our current pastor, Reverend K. Tyrone Turner, came to Bethel in 2006 with his wife, Brenda, and son, Timothy. Pastor Turner has served Churches in Florida, Kentucky, Oklahoma and Indiana. He has also involved himself with many denominational activities: District, State and National Baptist Convention of America, Inc. This year 2010 we join with our Pastor in Celebration of his Fortieth (40) Year of Ministry Experience.

With great energy and determination Pastor Turner has led the congregation in preparation for expansion of the Ministries of Bethel and Facilitates of Bethel. Under his leadership, Bethel is engaged continuously in Evangelism and Stewardship workshop development all design to meet the needs of future generations to come. The God First Program is design to build the inner and outer person as we seek necessary resources for Kingdom Expansion. “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Matt 6:33 (KJV)

Today, our distinguished pastor is leading the Bethel Church into a new era in its life and ministry. With the aspiration of procurement of adjacent lots of land near our present worship campus, on which a preeminent worship complex for Christ will be erected, Bethel Church is now poised to serve the spiritual and socio-economic needs of the Winter Park, FL., Orange and Seminole Counties region for the 21st century.
